The picture above is of a training drill comprising of four spots i.e. A,B,C,D before finishing the drill by taking a shot at goal.

The drill starts when a player at spot A throws the ball towards the player at spot B who controls the ball and after rolling it a little forward, plays it to the player at spot C, who controls the ball and after rolling it, plays a through pass for the player arriving from spot D. After receiving the ball, he dribbles into the penalty box and takes a shot at the goal where the goalkeeper is also ready to save the incoming shots.

This drill is of great importance as it involves the crossing of the ball, controlling of the ball and passing the ball and atlast finishing it inside the goal. This type of drill enhances team coordination as well as makes the players familiar to the situation they might face in the real match scenario.
