Working players without a ball

The picture above shows a training drill which involves three spots i.e. Spot A, B and C, with one player already at spot B and C. From Spot A, a player passes the ball to the player at Spot B and starts running towards the Spot B. The player already at B receives and runs with the ball through the cones and then passes it to the player at Spot C and starts running towards spot C. The player already at Spot C, receives the ball and runs through the cones with the ball and then passes it to the new player who is waiting at Spot A and runs to the Spot A and wait for his turn. The cycle continues again and again.

This drill improves the control on the ball and passing in tight situations. This also helps to develop stamina by short sprints from each spots. This training drill helps in real match scenarios in counter attack situations and keeping the possession in tight situations.
