11vs11 Objective Transitions

The picture above is of a training match being played between two teams i.e. Team Red and Team Yellow.

The drill starts when the goalkeeper of Team Yellow plays a pass to the defender in front of him, who plays the ball to the player at the right flank. The player at the flank plays the a pass back to a midfield player ,who plays it to his fellow midfielder, He then plays a pass to the player 9, who plays it back to him. The ball is then played to the left midfielder, who after receiving the ball plays it to the left back. The left back plays the ball forward to the left winger who plays it to the player 9 again, but this time he his tackled by a Red player and they launch a counter attack and as a result The Red team scores through the run and shoot of Player 7.

Drills like this, help the players to experience the temperament and nature of the game.
