Tilting and pressing the opponent

The picture above is of a training match being played between two teams. The teams comprises of six players each. It is a match of shorter format.

The two teams i.e. Red and Blue are playing in the area assigned to them by the dotted Red line, which acts as the boundary. The Red team is playing with formation of 4-2, The Players 1,2,3, and 4 playing at the back end while the Players 5 and 6 playing upfront.

The Blue team is playing with the formation of 2-2-2, in which the Players 1 and 3 are playing at the back as defenders, while the Players 2 and 4 are present at the Flanks and the Players 6 and 5 are playing in the forward position.

The training matches like this are very useful as they provide an understanding of the temperament of the game and improve the thinking abilities of the players.
