10×10 ATTACK-DEFENSE TRANSITION

The picture above is of a defensive training drill. It involves players from two teams i.e. Team White and Team Yellow.

The picture shows that the players from the Yellow team are playing the ball between them and after playing a few passes, the ball is intercepted by a player of White team. The player from the White team after intercepting the ball, plays it to his fellow White player on the other side of the field. Now the Yellow players will try to intercept and take the possession of the ball back.

These types of drill are very important as they help the players to experience the real game scenarios and help them make quick decisions in tight situations. This will help not only the player with the ball but also the defending player, as it will allow him to understand the techniques and make impactful decision at the required moments.
