The above picture shows a training drill being performed from all four sides of the marked region. It involves players from two teams i.e. Team A and Team B.
The drill starts when a player from both teams starts rolling the ball forward before passing it to his fellow player in front of him on the other side of the field. After passing the ball, the player runs into the middle to receive a minus ball. A minus ball is played to the player approaching the middle by the player on the other side. The minus ball is received and the players take a shot at the goal on their sides respectively.
The drill is repeated similarly by the other players on both teams. This drill helps the players to improve the agility, passing, receiving and finishing the ball in goal which is very useful in real match scenarios. It also develops the chemistry and co ordination between players of the team.
